The Sweetest Thing
So in blogging about how to find the good in life’s frustrations I have found the easiest way. Seeing God’s plan for your life revealed! After basically a year of frustration in trying to figure out what God wanted me to do next I finally know. I was offered and subsequently accepted a position at the Mt Hermon Christian Conference Center outside of Santa Cruz, CA. I am very excited at this point to get down there and start working. It will be kind of strange leaving Seattle and all my friends behind but at the same time it really is time for me to leave. I almost took a job earlier this summer in Santa Barbara because I really had a strong feeling that God was calling me away from Seattle but fortunately I turned that offer down!
Since I dealt with it for nearly a year I understand how frustrating it can be not knowing what it is that God has in store for you but I hope anyone who reads this and is going through similar struggles can take hope. I truely believe that God has a plan for everyone, no matter how insignificant you may feel, God has an important role for you in the kingdom and it is through trust and patience that he will reveal it to you in His Time. So take a deep breath, say a little prayer thanking him for the things you do have, and do something nice for a friend or a stranger. That always makes me feel better!
